Kiersten Hilland
Student Physiotherapist
Kiersten is a second-year Physical Therapy student at the University of Manitoba. Prior to this, she accomplished her Bachelor of Kinesiology degree at the University of Winnipeg in 2022.
Kiersten’s path to the field of physiotherapy was intricately woven with her early involvement in two dynamic sports – ultimate frisbee and basketball. These athletic pursuits ignited her passion for physical activity and set the stage for her deep fascination with the science of physiotherapy. Her journey truly took flight during her undergraduate years when she began working at a physiotherapy clinic in her first year. This experience not only grew her passion but also immersed her completely in the world of physiotherapy.
Kiersten’s unwavering passion for physiotherapy, combined with her desire to aid others on their rehabilitation journeys, has led her to the UBC clinic. Here, she continues to refine her skills and expand her knowledge, further enriching her capacity to make a difference. In one of her prior placements, Kiersten worked closely with post-operative hip and knee replacement patients, witnessing firsthand the transformative impact of physiotherapy on their lives.
Daisy Jiang

Daisy Jiang is a second-year physiotherapy student at the University of Manitoba. Daisy holds an undergraduate degree in microbiology, showcasing her dedication to the sciences. Her transition into the field of physiotherapy is a testament to her unwavering commitment to making a meaningful impact on people’s lives.
Daisy’s clinical skills in physiotherapy have flourished during her time as a student. Her hands-on experience, combined with her passion for helping others, allows her to provide effective and patient-centered care.
