The program reflects the latest OA research and has been developed based on feedback from people with OA, as well as healthcare professionals who provide care to individuals with mild to severe symptoms. GLA:D® provides an evidence-based approach that works in the real world.
It is a 7-week education and exercise program for individuals with stiff or painful knees and/or hips or individuals with knee and/or hip osteoarthritis. Research shows participants in GLA:D® are more physically active, report less pain, reduce use of pain medications and may delay or prevent the need for surgery.
