Julien Adam

Julien is a second-year Master of Physical Therapy student at the University of British Columbia. He earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of British Columbia in 2023, studying physiology and biochemistry with a special interest in their application to sports science, kinesiology, and evidence-based physical rehabilitation.
Hailing from Vancouver’s North Shore, Julien is an avid mountain biker, skier, and runner. He also grew up playing, coaching, and officiating minor league hockey. Having been a patient himself many times, Julien has developed a deep appreciation for the practice of physical therapy. He believes in delivering individualized treatment to every client and is looking forward to working with you to help you move better.

Kyle Carragher
Physiotherapist
Kyle is a second-year physiotherapy student at the University of British Columbia. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at SFU with a specialization in Occupational Ergonomics & Assessment. Prior to his pursuit in physiotherapy, Kyle worked as a Kinesiologist at both a private clinic and return-to-work rehabilitation program. He worked mostly with individuals experiencing chronic pain and helped them regain their independence through paced exercise, goal setting, and self-management tools.
Most of Kyle’s life was spent representing Canada as a Trampoline Gymnast. He competed at several international competitions, including a handful of World Championships. This has brought him around the world to places such as Denmark, Australia, and Bulgaria. It was through this experience as an elite athlete that Kyle developed an interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation.
In his spare time, Kyle enjoys taking in everything that BC has to offer. This includes trail running, bouldering, surfing, cycling – but most importantly, just kicking back and spending time with good company. Kyle has enjoyed integrating into the physiotherapy community at UBC and is excited to meet and work with his patients at the PTRC.

Alexa (Lexy) Bruschinsky
Physiotherapist
Lexy is a second year Master of Physical Therapy Student with a background in Health and Exercise Sciences and a minor in Psychology from UBC Okanagan. Her academic foundation sparked a deep interest in the connection between mental and physical well-being, which continues to shape her holistic approach to care.
Growing up in Kelowna, BC, Lexy was immersed in outdoor recreation and a variety of sports, including volleyball, soccer, dance, skiing, and now rock climbing and trail running. These experiences, along with witnessing the positive impact of healthcare professionals in her own and her family’s health journeys, inspired her path into physiotherapy.
Before starting her Master’s, Lexy worked as a kinesiologist, using Pilates as a therapeutic tool. More recently, her practicum placements have included diverse settings such as a private orthopedic clinic in Kelowna, BC Children’s Hospital, and the acute care unit at UBC Hospital. These experiences have allowed her to work with a broad range of conditions and age groups, deepening her clinical skills and adaptability.
Lexy is passionate about helping individuals reach their functional and wellness goals and is excited to support you at the PTRC. Outside of the clinic, you’ll likely find her at a local climbing gym, out on the trails, or chasing summits in the mountains she loves.
