Danae Snell
Physiotherapist
Danae is a 2nd year physical therapy student studying in Vancouver at UBC. Prior to entering her masters, Danae attended the Okanagan UBC Campus located in Kelowna, BC, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Health and Exercise Sciences. Born and raised in Victoria, BC, Danae has a love for the outdoors that she relies on to keep herself grounded. When not at school, Danae enjoys discovering new coffee shops, moving her body through walking, running, and yoga, as well as taking any opportunity to listen to music or attend concerts.
Her passion for physiotherapy is inspired by people’s stories and potential for change. Danae has gained experience in pediatrics, neurology, and acute care settings through her previous placements and work experience. She is keen to continue improving her skills and apply her knowledge to the private practice setting. Danae’s background as a competitive figure skater has fostered a love for movement that she hopes to inspire in others. As a physical therapy student, she would love to help clients reach their goals, encourage them to work hard, and enjoy the process throughout!
