Accidents can happen anywhere, even at work. When individuals have a work-related injury or disease, WorkSafe British Columbia (WSBC) funds the care and rehabilitation services necessary to help them return to full health. The UBC PTRC has the necessary contracts in place with WSBC to assist those who have experienced a workplace injury. Individuals will receive a full assessment, which is paid for by WSBC. Treatment will depend upon the results of the assessment and injury, with the therapist picking from all modes of treatment available, including manual therapy, exercise therapy, intramuscular stimulation, and more.
